i have played drums since i was five… 35 years. my dad played guitar and was always in a band… sometimes rock, sometimes country. this is obviously where i got the fascination. i remember watching the drummers for dad's bands… i would just watch and think WOW! i love playing drums, drums are fun. i quote dr seuss, "dum ditty dum ditty dum dum dum".

i have been playing drums for danny since 1989… 19 years. 19 years of performing together is not by accident. in the beginning there was an excitement for the writer and his songs, and an eagerness to work together. my feelings towards danny's writing skills have not changed, but the relationship has grown into a friendship beyond definition, it has become a brotherhood. that brotherhood has grown to include the entire band. there's nothing greater than a gig with these five characters… it's like a 4 hour period of fun and freedom. the energy, of course, comes from you the audience, and i thank you for that rush.

my favorite hobby is bicycling. when I was a kid, if i wasn't playing my drums, i was ridin' my bike. i'm still a kid at heart. i am a songwriter, but i don't perform right now, except for my wife and girls.
